Swadesh Chatterjee is a recipient of the Padma Bhushan award - the third highest civilian awards of India. He is a former elected National President of the Indian American Forum for Political Education. He is President of an industrial instrumentation company based in North Carolina.He accompanied Clinton to India in 2000.
