Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge is a console and computer game released in 2000. The game is part of the Frogger series, and the sequel to Frogger (1997), featuring similar 4-way movement gameplay in a 3D world.

Unlike its predecessor, Frogger 2 featured a choice of different characters to play with in the game, and several multiplayer modes. The playable available from the start characters are:

  • Frogger
  • Lillie Frog
  • Tad
  • Treeby

There were also unlockable characters:

  • Wart
  • Tank
  • Roobie
  • Swampy

Collecting all of the coins in a level unlocks levels in arcade mode. For example, collecting all of the coins in the first level (The Garden) unlocks the level "Toad Road." When you unlock all the tracks, then you unlock the hidden characters, and the game modes:

  • Mini Frogs

It makes the characters really small.

  • Feeding Frenzy

Makes the characters eat some of the enemies.

  • Frogger's Gallery

It makes you see some sketchs of the designers and a photo of them all.

Swampy, a crocodile whom Frogger once jumped on, gets revenge on Frogger by stealing the six baby frog siblings of Lillie Frog. Frogger and Lillie pursue Swampy through various worlds rescuing the baby frogs along the way. Much excitement takes place, because Frogger has tons of new moves and abilities that help him through the exciting adventure.

Frogger
A frog that has faced many dangers: 1st he was dodging road traffic, then avoiding crocodiles and snakes, then he found himself in a strange, 2D environment and trys to get out of it. Then he had to stop Swampy once and for all and save the baby frogs.
Lilly Frog
Frogger's love. She and Frogger team up to go save the baby frogs and stomp Swampy.
Tad
A baby frog who was made fun of by the other baby frogs, until he screwed up Swampy's systematic frog leg factory.
Treeby
A very dumb and foolish frog that's an assistant of Swampy.
Wart
An ugly though forcing frog met by Frogger at the garden.
Tank
A robotic frog built by Swampy to disquise himself and spy on the other frogs.
Roobie
A kangaroo who owns a whole garden. She allows the other frogs to play there.
Swampy
An evil crocodile who kidnaps baby frogs and abuses them. He throws some in random places to keep Frogger and Lilly busy.
