[edit] Arbitrary information
Some of info here -- such as hull, shield -- doesn't add significant out-of-universe information about these vehicles and just clutters the screen. In addition, some of the units used on the articles to quantify these statistics, like speed, have no real-world translation/conversion. Any ideas on how to rectify this? Fields that can be deleted? Template:Infobox_Fictional_Spacecraft isn't perfect, but has some layout and fields that seem to make sense. --EEMeltonIV 01:51, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Optional fields
Considering that some of the fields are pretty irrelevant for some craft (ie Troop capacity or Passengers for starfighters) I've converted all fields excluding Image, Name, and Affilliation to be optional parameters (If the parameter is not filled, the header will not display). This should give us a bit more flexibility with templating craft. -- saberwyn 07:42, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
