Talk:Sven Co-op
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Seen the deletion notice, and while I understand there may be some reasoning, I would please ask you to reconsider.
While this page is currently underdeveloped, Sven Co-op is a significant Half-Life mod that has warranted multiple awards over its history and is the sixth most played Half-Life 1 mod on Steam.
While it is the case that this page was deleted previously, this was due to the content that was posted not being up to scratch. More information will be posted in this article over the next few days.
[edit] Notability not information
The article needs verfiable third-party sources that show how this piece of software demonstrates notability.
Very basically A topic is notable if it has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial published works whose sources are independent of the subject itself. Many topics must meet a minimum threshold of notability in order for an article on that topic to appear in Wikipedia. This requirement ensures that there exists enough source material to write a verifiable encyclopedia article about the topic.

If you have access to multiple non-trivial published works, you need to get them up quick or this article will be deleted again. --Charlesknight 01:19, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- Wouldnt the #4th played Game on STEAM be a pretty good reason to keep it? 24.26.143.219 09:48, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
it was bundled with some gamer magazine in an issue, I don't remember which. T-1 18:26, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Remove game stats information
I believe that the game stats rank in It has since grown to become a full blown mod, with a full team, ranked as the 4th most played game on Steam, excluding the official games by Valve. should be removed as the rank (4) is always changing, for example Sven Co-op is currently the fifth most played game, excluding games by Valve. I would recommend changing the sentence to say that it is one of the most popular Half-Life mods. --Credema 02:48, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- I have now updated it because there was no opposition to the change. --Credema 05:22, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Changes
I changed the mentions of 3.5 to 4.0, as that is the new name for the upcoming version. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.137.140.186 (talk) 23:17, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
