[edit] Third opinion
Hey. First off, a third opinion isn't really appropriate here, since there's been no discussion. Given all that, I will say that the second paragraph is totally unnecessary, as it is original research. I would also remind everyone here of the three revision rule, as it has been broken by all editors involved. — HelloAnnyong [ t · c ] 21:39, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, but wouldn't you consider the KP report a notable source? Which that source indicates the speculations existed or else it wouldnt have been brought up on the 56th session of the podcast.
- As for the skepticism of her denial, that may seem like original research, but how would you describe the hoax section in the moon landing article? --Stripedtiger (talk) 21:53, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

- Uh... what source are you talking about? I don't seen any. And what does the moon landing hoax have to do with anything? That article has 118 decent sources on it. By comparison, there are no sources at all listed here. — HelloAnnyong [ t · c ] 21:59, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

- I have sources for the KP report that werent linked to the article, and I can easily find sources for motives on why a VA would use an alias and deny it.--Stripedtiger (talk) 22:22, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

- VA? Who is that? — HelloAnnyong [ t · c ] 22:54, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- Voice Actress. Specifically one that's part of a union.--Stripedtiger (talk) 23:16, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- Um.. alright. Can you list the sources here so we can figure out whether or not they count as reliable sources? — HelloAnnyong [ t · c ] 23:29, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sources
Here is the 56th session of the KP report featuring Debi Mae West. At 9 minutes they bring up the speculation of Suzetta Minet being her alias, which she denies.
Here is a site linking to the Screen Actor's Guild constitution. If a member were to break one of the rules & regulations(pg 35), they could be motivated use an alias to avoid penalties. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stripedtiger (talk • contribs) 00:17, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- See, the SAG thing is unacceptable. Unless you can find an article that explicitly states that people have used aliases to avoid SAG penalties, it's considered original research - and is therefore unacceptable on Wikipedia. As for the Debi Mae West thing, that should be included on the article on her, rather than here. Inclusion on here seems to be more of a trivia fact, which is deprecated under Wiki rules. I might be okay with something like "Suzetta Minet has been mistaken for Debi Mae West, who did the voice of Meryl" and add a proper citation. — HelloAnnyong [ t · c ] 00:25, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Most of the VAs in the original Metal Gear Solid game used aliases because they were unsure if the projected was regulated by the SAG. Although this is widely known, I found it listed on a site here 10th bullet down. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stripedtiger (talk • contribs) 00:44, December 22, 2007
- IMDB trivia isn't acceptable either, as there's no way of verifying it. — HelloAnnyong [ t · c ] 00:45, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- It isnt easy finding a specific article on the subject since it's commonly known that most of the Voice Actors/Actress used aliases because of the union regulations. It's even listed, uncited at, Debi Mae West's page and Cam Clarke's page, that they used the aliases respective to the VAs that were credited in the original Metal Gear Solid game; It's even brought up here that they used aliases List of Metal Gear Solid characters, using the same IMDB trivia citation probably because there isn't an article on the net stating what alot of people know.--Stripedtiger (talk) 11:59, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
