Suzzara is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 130 km southeast of Milan and about 20 km south of Mantua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 18,551 and an area of 60.8 km².[1]

The municipality of Suzzara contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Brusatasso, Riva, Sailetto, San Prospero, Tabellano, and Vie Nuove.

Suzzara borders the following municipalities: Dosolo, Gonzaga, Luzzara, Motteggiana, Pegognaga, Viadana.
