Suzy Powell

Suzanne ("Suzy") Powell (born September 3, 1976 in Modesto, California) is a female discus thrower from the United States, who represented her native country in the women's discus throw event at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1996 (Atlanta, Georgia). The 1995 Pan American Junior Championships gold medalist she set the world's best year performance in 2002, with a 69.44 metres leap.
