[edit] The story
The story of Suzie was conceived when Warren Matthews was in London. It was while living in London that he first got the idea for Suzie, stumbling upon a veritable graveyard of shop mannequins in the basement of an old department store. “There was a whole labyrinth of underground tunnels that hid unfortunate girls just like Suzie,” he said. “Their fate was sealed and I knew that I just had to tell her story.”
Using method acting, Warren became the Psycho Loner, even living alone with Suzie to get into character.
“She was always looked on as a real person, and treated like one,” said Warren. “This made acting the part of the Psycho Loner much easier to absorb.”
