Suzhou Singapore International School

Suzhou Singapore International School (traditional Chinese: 蘇州新加坡國際學校; simplified Chinese: 苏州新加坡国际学校) or SSIS is an international school located in Suzhou Industrial Park in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. SSIS, is an international school offering education from Kindergarten up to High School. It is a school offering programmes of the International Baccalaureate. It currently offers lessons conducted in English, and teaches Chinese as a second language.

(Suzhou Singapore International School is not to be confused with the unrelated Shanghai Singapore International School, which shares the abbreviation SSIS.)

The school was established in 1996 as an integral part of Suzhou Industrial Park's development, and has students from over twenty countries. The school's education system from Kindergarten to Primary is loosely based on the Singaporean education system. Secondary school education is based on the International Baccalaureate's MYP programme and IB Diploma. At the end of Year 10, students graduate with completion of the MYP and at the end of Year 12, graduate with the IB Diploma.

The School recently moved from its old site at Xing Han Street(星漢街82號)to its new site at 208 Guan Qian Jie (观前街208號). The school year at SSIS generally begins at the end of August and ends at the end of June.

Suzhou Singapore International School (SSIS) aims to provide a high standard of international education to the children of expatriate families living in the Suzhou area.
