Suzanne Gabriello

Suzanne Gabriello (Born Suzanne Yvonne Henriette Marie Galopet on 24 January 1932 - Died 9 August 1992 in Paris) was a French singer/actress, daughter of actor Gabriello. She was one of Jacques Brel's partners, for whom he wrote "Ne Me Quitte Pas" (although he failed her). Her position as a presenter at the Paris Olympia concert hall helped Brel's rise to fame. She later married Theatre director Guy Lauzin with whom she had a daughter, Marie. She was about 60 years old when she died.
