Suzanne 'Susie' Chun Oakland is a Democratic member of the Hawaii Senate, representing the 13th District since 1996. Previously she was a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives from 1991 through 1996. She is generally considered to have liberal political views.

Chun Oakland received her BA degree in Communications and Psychology from the University of Hawaii.

Chun Oakland is the first of three children born to Philip S. Chun and Mei-Chih Chun. She is the mother of three children Mailene Nohea Pua Oakland, Christopher Michael Sing Kamakaku Oakland and Lauren Suzanne LeRong Kemelenohea Oakland. She has two grandchildren, Mysha and Shayden Tialevea.
