[edit] Church of Scotland cathedrals

Thank you for your edit to this template. However it is a misnomer as the Church of Scotland is Presbyterian and does not have cathedrals, only former cathedrals it inherited. All the best. --MacRusgail 13:55, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

I see your point, the Church of Scotland is no longer episcopally governed and therefore officially has no cathedrals. Technically, these would be High Kirks, I suppose. The thing is, the former cathedrals are almost universally still known as cathedrals - look at Edinburgh and St Giles' Cathedral, Kirkwall with St Magnus Cathedral, Dornoch Cathedral etc etc... I don't think the template is particularly confusing - each article will explain the situation over the 'cathedral name'. Maybe you should ask for opinions on the Scottish Wikipedians' page? [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Island Games 2005 logo.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Island Games 2005 logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] WikiProject Christianity

Hello Suxamethonium!

You are cordially invited to participate in WikiProject Christianity

The goal of WikiProject Christianity is to improve the quality and quantity of information about Christianity available on Wikipedia. WP:X as a group does not prefer any particular tradition or denominination of Christianity, but prefers that all Christian traditions are fairly and accurately represented.

You are receiving this invitation because you are a member of one of the related Christianity Projects and I thought that you might be interested in this project also - Tinucherian (talk) 05:13, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
