Suvadhana

Her Royal Highness Princess Suvadhana (Thai: พระนางเจ้าสุวัทนา พระวรราชเทวี) was the royal consort of late King Vajiravudh (Rama VI). Her former name was Kruakeaw Abhayawongse. She was born a commoner in April 15, 1906. Her father was Phra-Ya (a Thai noble rank) Abhayabhupesa (Luam Abhayawongse) and her mother was Ms. Lek Bunnag. She was the royal mother of Her Royal Highness Princess Bejaratana, the only royal child of H.M. King Vajiravudh. When she married King Vajiravudh, the king promoted her to be Chao Chom Suvadhana (Royal Consort) and Phra Nang Chao Suvadhana (H.R.H. Princess Consort) then.

Princess Suvadhana died on October 10, 1985 at the age of 80 in Siriraj Hospital, Bangkok.
