Sutton High Sports College

Sutton High Sports College is a secondary school in the Sutton area of St.Helens,Merseyside. It is a medium sized school with 11 - 16 and 16 + facilities. The School was originally opened in the late 1970s as an intended replacement for the much older Robins Lane High School. The Robins Lane site remained in use up until its demolition in 1992. The bell from the school can be seen on display inside the current Sutton High site.

The schools current chair of governors is Mr Kevin Flanagan, the headteacher is Mr Paul Melia, who replaced longstanding headteacher Mrs Lesley Calderbank in 2004. The senior management team includes Mrs Carol Parkinson, Mrs Angela Webster and Mr Stephen Humphries.
