Sutter Union High School is a small high school located in the census-designated area of Sutter, USA, located just 10 miles west of Yuba City, California near the foot of the Sutter Buttes. When the high school first opened in the 19th century it hosted only 18 students. It lies in a more rural area compared to many of the other high schools in the Yuba-Sutter Area.
Sutter is well known in the Yuba-Sutter area for its skills in athletics. The most successful have been football, volleyball, girls soccer, and baseball who each won a Northern Section Championship in their last season. Wrestling and Boys Cross Country teams have won league titles each of the past three years.
Sutter is over 100 years old since its establishment in 1893. It now holds over 800 students every year, and it keeps growing.
