Evidence

I have been in a dispute with Dwrayosfour over the Flyleaf article. The problem is over whether Christian rock applies to this band, and properly sourcing such a claim. Recently on the articles talk page Landon1980 showed up to weigh in on the debate. His opinion was that of Dwrayosfour. What I found interesting was that Landon had made only ONE edit before jumping in to the debate, and already seemed to be well versed on wikipedia policy.[1] I questioned him on whether or not he was a mult[2] which he denied.[3]

Shortly after this a new user, again with no previous edit history, showed up to agree with me however his post was very rude[4], and written in a similiar vein to some of mine from the past.[5][6][7][8]

After this guys posts appeared both Landon and Dw accused me him of being my mult[9][10], which a usercheck will show to be entirely untrue. However I do suspect that this is a mult they are using to try to blame it on me and get me in trouble.

Also for what it's worth Dw has previously joked that he wanted to be a sockpuppeteer.[11]

If both of these are not socks of Dw, I believe the unregistered user is a sock of Landon. If you look at their user contributions there is overlap on what they edit.[12][13]

Comments

I would like to welcome a checkuser to check this out. This will prove I am in no relation to this user, or IP. I would request one for exoneration if that met the criteria, which I know it doesn't. Also, Hoponpop has been known to use a sock account in the past. Anyone who looks will see the similarities between his edits, and the IP's. I also want to point out that Hoponpop acts as if he and dwrayosfour make up the genre argument on Flyleaf talk. That is not the case, hoponpop is one side and the other side consists of a dozen or so editors including dwrayosfour. I belong to neither side, I responded to the RFC and was attacked shortly after by hoponpop, see here I merely said that before 'Christian Rock' is added, it needs to be properly sourced. Hoponpop insists on using sources that say they are Christians to back up his claim. Landon1980 (talk) 00:15, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Conclusions

I've just blocked Hoponpop69 for disruption and harassment. This report appears to be a thinly veiled attempt at harassment. If further trouble arrises from IPs or other accounts, request a checkuser on Hoponpop69 or contact me. Jehochman ^❤ 00:20, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
