Talk:Surveillance system monitor
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article states "the occupation of Surveillance System Monitor does not exist in significant numbers [8] in the nation's economy." In an effort to further refute the listing by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, it would be pertinent to know where information regarding the existence of studies which prove that the Surveillance-System Monitor occupation can be found and used to raise this argument at hearing on behalf of the disabled worker. Research into these findings would significantly benefit the representative of the worker during questioning of the vocation expert who makes the claim at the time of hearing that such a position is available, thereby attempting to skew the Administrative Law Judge's opinion as to the total disability of the worker because of relevant employment available for that person. (----)
Several vocational experts have, over the years, presented their findings at NOSSCR (http://www.nosscr.org/) conventions and/or provided opinions to individual attorneys. Thus, the studies are not easily available. (66.184.181.74 16:48, 19 September 2007 (UTC))
