Surrey South Eastern Combination

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Surrey South Eastern Combination is one of the two intermediate association football leagues in the English county of Surrey (the other is the Surrey County Intermediate League (Western)). It comprises clubs from the east of Surrey and parts of Middlesex and London.

While the league is situated at the 11th level of the English football league system, it has not yet been incorporated into the National League System as a Step 7 league, unlike most other level 11 leagues. In practice, it acts as a feeder to the Combined Counties League. Warlingham have recently been promoted from the Combination to the CCL, with Hersham RBL and Cranleigh relegated in the opposite direction. In 2008/09 the introduction of the Surrey Elite Intermediate League is hoped to fill the gap between this league and the Combined Counties League.

Currently the league has seven divisions - Intermediate Divisions One and Two, as well as five Junior Divisions (One to Five).
