Surpass hiT is an optical MUX (short for multiplexer) made by Siemens. It has some novel features and some drawbacks as well.

A few popular model of Surpass hiT include:

  • Surpass hiT 7080
  • Surpass hiT 7070
  • Surpass hiT 7060
  • Surpass hiT 7050
  • Surpass hiT 7030

All series are not manufactured at same location. For example, hiT 7070 and7050 are made in Germany, while Surpass hiT 7060 and 7030 are made in China. It is said that the Chinese products are extremely sensitive to temperature changes.[who?]
