Surampatti is a Grade three Municipality in Erode district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

As of 2001 India census[1], Surampatti had a population of 31,737. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Surampatti has an average literacy rate of 73%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 67%. In Surampatti, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
