"Suraj Hua Madham" is a song from the Bollywood film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, directed by Karan Johar.

The music was composed by the Sandesh Shandilya with lyrics by Sameer. It is sung by Alka Yagnik and Sonu Nigam. The rest of the soundtrack was composed by Jatin Lalit.

The song is a dream song and begins after when Rahul (Khan) says to Anjali (Kajol) that he loves her and she leaves looking shy running into the rain. Coming back to reality, Anjali realizes that this relationship is impossible and cries.

The song was shot in Egypt and various locations to make a perfect dream song sequence. Some shots were taken in Dharavi.

  • Kajol falls on her face when she tripped over a rock when running away from Shahrukh when wearing the red dress at start of the song and it required a re-do.[citation needed]
  • This track was redone by Akshai Sarin for the movie Kaal and is also on an album called Klub K3G.
