Suraj (Hindi: सुरज, Urdu: سورج, translation: sun) is a 1966 Hindi movie produced by S. Krishnamurthy and directed by T. Prakash Rao. The film stars Rajendra Kumar,Vyjayanthimala, Ajit, Johnny Walker, Mumtaz, Lalita Pawar and Neetu Singh. The films music is by Shankar Jaikishan. There's also a Hindi movie with same name starring Mithun Chakrobarthy, a big star at the time.

Surajis considered one of its first kind of fantasy costume dramas of bollywood which was highly commercially successful. Shankar Jaikishen's chartbuster music also played an important role in boosting the film's popularity. The songs of Surajare remembered till date & are considered evergreen all time hits. Besides Rafi's "Baharon phool barsao" his other solo "Gustakhi maaf" was hugely popular. His two duets "Kaise samjhaoon"(with Asha Bhosle) & "Itna hai tumse pyar"(with Suman Kalyanpur) are considered all time romantic hits. Sharda sang her first song "Titli udi" for Suraj which earned her a Special Filmfare Award & the song is considered her only big hit.
