[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Tempura_prawn.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Tempura_prawn.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 08:48, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] User:Supin

A tag has been placed on on your user page, User:Supin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages: user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam and the guidelines on user pages.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page in question and leave a note on this page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Calton | Talk 14:13, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your request to change your username

I've seen that you've asked to change your username to Pacific West, but you should be aware that having the name of a company as your username, combined with activities (such as the page you're working on at your user page) is generally considered to be a breach of username policy. Are you in any way involved in Pacific West? If so, it might be helpful if you read this page about conflicts of interest - if you're involved in the company then you shouldn't really be creating or editing pages about it.
