[edit] Dinosauriformes
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have perfomed a web search with the contents of Dinosauriformes, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.palaeos.org/Dinosauriformes. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 14:30, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Mammal
It appears that you are doing major construction on mammal. That is really great. I just want to give you a friendly advice (which I wish people have told me when I first started to edit articles seriously). You may want to cite sources while you are editing. It is much easier to do at the time you edit, than afterwards. If you don't add references while editing, people will insert "unreference" and "fact" templates, and then someone else will need to scramble to find proper references.
We now prefer inline citations. Please see the the Parental expenditure for book citations. See Ocean sunfish for web citations. Fred Hsu 15:09, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
You can try to edit (but not save) the above articles, to see how the inline references are added. It is much better than simply listing a reference in the reference section, and it is not hard. Fred Hsu 15:43, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
For your convenience, I'll add one here, to the end of this paragraph. It is usually sufficient to add the reference to the end of the paragraph, if the entire paragraph can be traced to this reference. Because your talk page does not have the special 'Reflist' template, the reference I add here won't show up in your talk page. Fred Hsu 15:46, 13 August 2007 (UTC) [1]
I rewrite your citation for you this time. Please check out the diff page to see how this was done. Fred Hsu 02:13, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] empty headings in Neognathae
Hi, nice work on the rewrite of the introduction to the Neognathae article. I have made some small changes. Are you planning to fill in the empty headings you created throughout the article? They appear to be sensible, but without content they don't add much to the article and only distract the reader. I have left them in the article for now, but if you don't plan to add content to them yourself anytime soon, I suggest you move them to the talk page.

[edit] Speedy deletion of Scott Cassel
A tag has been placed on Scott Cassel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Speedy deletion of Proterochampsidae
A tag has been placed on Proterochampsidae requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Acanthopale
Hello! Thank you for taking the time back in January to expand this article. However, it appears as if the information you added was taken from a copyrighted source, [1]. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept such contributions. [edit] Proposed deletion of Life: a natural history of the first four billion years of life on earth (book)
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Life: a natural history of the first four billion years of life on earth (book), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? B. Wolterding (talk) 23:20, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
