[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!!!
Hello Supercod! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. If you decide that you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. You may also push the signature button located above the edit window. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. Below are some recommended guidelines to facilitate your involvement. Happy Editing! -- LittleOldMe 10:40, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Paid On Results
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Paid On Results, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Paid On Results. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --MCB 16:31, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for the feedback MCB, I have improved the article as per your suggestions. I am a moderator of several UK Affiliate marketing forums and have been successful in the area both in the USA and the UK since 1997. I am keen to see more UK company get exposure like several if the USA base ones have however I am loathed to do any more work on including more companies with notable information and Industry 1st until I am sure what I am doing is adding value, I was also thinking of doing an Article on UK Affiliate Marketing as I feel the current one on Affiliate Marketing is heavily US biases and miss out some very important development in the UK for what is a multi-billion pound industry that many hundreds of thousands of people in the UK directly or indirectly benefit from. - Thanks for posting a response. (By the way, the practice on Wikipedia is to leave the previous postings, so that others can see the entire discussion; some people will get very upset if you remove their Talk page postings.) As for the article, please remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a web directory or business directory, and it is not a goal here to see "more UK companies get exposure", and anything with a promotional flavor will be deleted. I don't believe that the subject of the article meets the notability guidelines in WP:CORP; you might want to take a second look there, as well as at Wikpedia guidelines on reliable sources to more fully understand why Wikipedia requires strong third-party sources (and not press releases, forum posts, etc.) for articles. As you are working on this I am not going to nominate it for Articles for Deletion now, but to be candid, someone else may well. Thanks for contributing and I hope you will have a chance to read some of the policies and guidelines that I've mentioned. Best, --MCB 00:57, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
