[edit] February 2008

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Hierarchy. Readers looking for serious articles will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write (almost) whatever you want. [edit] Speedy deletion of Wi-Fi League Forums

A tag has been placed on Wi-Fi League Forums, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Dethme0w. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Dethme0w (talk) 00:42, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] User:Dethme0w

Hi. As you can now see, it is a userpage, and he is not trying to promote a company; it is not spam. That is why I removed the tag. SchfiftyThree 00:43, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Spectral (comics)

A tag has been placed on Spectral (comics) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

[edit] Warnings on Talk Page

Well, accourding to your message on my talk page, I'll have to think about that. When I post warnings, I don't remove them. Others users or administrators will warn users when they've made unconstructive edits to the encyclopedia (vandalism), which I do often (I don't vandalise), even though I'm not an admin. However, when I post those warnings, I usually don't take them off. As for the other guy, he might be okay with you; it's probably just that he thought it was vandalism.

As well, with the LOL page, the reason why you weren't able to make edits to that page is because it is semi-protected, and only established users with an account older than 4 days can edit the article. If you want to make an edit to the LOL article, try waiting until the 14th of February and see what happens. SchfiftyThree 00:59, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Spectral (comics). If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Tuvok[T@lk/Improve] 01:00, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Spectral (comics)

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Spectral (comics), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hi, I'm not sure what your intention was here, but please do not edit anything but your own comments on other people's talk pages. Thank you.--Oni Ookami AlfadorTalk|@ 18:06, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
