[edit] (loan) should not be in italics

Hello and welcome to wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions to football entries. However please note that the word (loan) in football infoboxes should not be in italics. The agreed standard for football player infoboxes is the Wikipedia Football Project Player Manual of Style. Please could you follow this standard. Thank you. [edit] Possible second account

Are you Simon nelson? You both edit Burnley F.C. articles and have applied similar infobox edits that go against the standards of WP:FOOTY. If you are this user, please note that having more than one Wikipedia account is generally not allowed. Please read WP:SOCK to ensure that you are not violating Wikipedia's terms of use. If you are not this user then please accept my apologies. --Jameboy (talk) 22:14, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Eddie Anaclet

A tag has been placed on Eddie Anaclet, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Eddie Anaclet is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Eddie Anaclet saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please feel free to use deletion review, but do not continue to repost the article if it is deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. [edit] Edit Summary

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.  glennb28  t/ 21:05, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Youth clubs in infoboxes

Hi, I noticed you removed the youth clubs information from Cameron Jerome's infobox while updating his under-21 appearances. In future, please don't remove such information, it is as important a part of the player's history as his previous adult clubs. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 22:43, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of content warning

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Stuart Parnaby, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you. Struway2 (talk) 17:36, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of under-21 stats

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Ugo Ehiogu, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you. Please do not remove under-21 international appearances from infoboxes, as you did with Ehiogu. Thankyou. Jameboy (talk) 15:05, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of youth information from infoboxes

Hi, Please could you explain why you persist in removing youth club information from players' infoboxes? You're doing so much good constructive editing in terms of tidying up infoboxes and keeping player stats up to date that it doesn't make sense for you to spoil it by removing useful, valid content. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 21:31, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 2008

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Martin Škrtel, you will be blocked from editing. John Hayestalk 00:46, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Martin Škrtel. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. John Hayestalk 00:47, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Richard Garcia, you will be blocked from editing. You have been asked not to remove valid content from football player infoboxes, you have been warned about it, you have been asked to explain why you are doing it, yet you persist in doing it and in ignoring all attempts to communicate. Please stop. Struway2 (talk) 08:52, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Final warning

If you persist in removing perfectly valid information from infoboxes without discussion, without edit summary and against the concerns raised above by the community, I will block you from editing. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:02, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

I have blocked your account for repeated blanking of material without explanation. If this is what's required to get your attention, then, sadly, so be it.

If you resume this behaviour on the expiry of the block, you will be blocked indefinitely. --Dweller (talk) 16:43, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
