[edit] Image source problem with Image:TheDebarted.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:TheDebarted.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:16, 3 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Cirt (talk) 08:16, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hannah Montana episodes

Like many series (such as Friends, That 70's Show, Prison Break, Desperate Housewives, The Simpsons, and Family Guy as examples) Hannah Montana is a popular series, and I ask if (like all the shows listed above) that I can make a wikipedia page for every single episode. I know for a fact Desperate Housewives has over 80 episodes with their own pages, and all 120 aired episodes of Family Guy have their own pages (not to mention the 415 episodes of The Simpsons with their own pages). I've made "Lilly, Do You Want To Know a Secret?" more comprehensible to read, but can I make all episodes of this award-winning series have their own pages? Please reply on my talk. - Yours truly, S (talk) 23:26, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Short answer - no. Long answer see intense debate about this issue at WT:Television episodes. Also see previous debate about this issue at Talk:List of Hannah Montana episodes. Most of the episode articles have already been created and redirected back to the main list. Suggest you reopen discussion on the episode list discussion page before putting in a major effort that is likely to be undone. Previous shaky consensus was that most individual episodes don't show enough notability to have own article. --NrDg 23:54, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Dial 'N' for Nerder

Hey, sorry that I had to revert you there, but it's very frustrating if I'm working on an article, cleaning up, looking for spelling and grammar mistakes and you come along and overwrite the whole thing, therefore readding all of the original errors. Please read WP:OWN, feel free to build on what is written, but don't overwrite the whole thing with your independent version. The Dominator (talk) 03:15, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply, no offense taken, happy editing! The Dominator (talk) 04:38, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:MileyStewart.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:MileyStewart.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:53, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Miley Stewart

Before I restore the content I'll give you a chance to fix the article you degraded. You broke about half the wikilinks in the citations you modified and you converted full citations to bare citations. I have no problems with the text you modified, just the broken citations and red wikilinks you introduced. Actually look at the article and fix the problems. I left it alone for a bit as you did have the under construction tag on it but that is not meant to be a permanent tag. --NrDg 17:34, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

I did, but I didn't "degrade", as you put it, the page. I've merely added more sources, and made the sources easy enough so another user would be able to copy it similarily. I've fixed the broken citations, and there are no more red links. Better? - Yours truly, S (talk) 18:48, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Better but you fixed the misspelled episode titles by creating redirects instead of correcting the spelling. Please correct the spelling of the episode titles to match the spelling in the List of Hannah Montana episodes article and TV Guide. How long do you plan to keep the under construction tag up? --NrDg 19:02, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Response

I fixed the season 19 page, and on the official releases, the production code is written (SI-1909), meaning it is the 9th episode produced for season 19, so KABF09. As well, I was wondering if you would be interested in helping out at The Simpsons wiki. It is similar to wikipedia, but has no restraints or notability guidelines, so pretty much anything Simpsons related can have a page there. -- Scorpion0422 00:33, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

You can just go there whenever you want and add stuff. At the moment we are more concerned with expansion than anything, so find something that doesn't have an article, and have fun. -- Scorpion0422 02:22, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] List of Hannah Montana episodes credits

Please don't change the credits as they were as listed in the end credits of the episodes. It is significant as to how the actors are listed, Guest Star, Co Star and order have meaning. --NrDg 00:13, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Reply

I would prefer to keep it all as one page. Having a "minor recurring characters" page (or section) welcomes far too man edit wars and POV, even if we do take a vote. In the case of minor characters, just give them smaller sections. The page is a tad long, but it's still within the acceptable size limit. -- Scorpion0422 23:07, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] List of Hannah Montana episodes viewing numbers

These are real important to have in the article as they give a outside the universe notability to the article. --NrDg 20:17, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

First off, happy birthday! But be careful on what you're overwriting, you've just readded "upcoming" back into the lead when it has already aired. The Dominator (talk) 00:55, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Note you also overwrite my spelling fixes and several other helpful edits, so in short, at least check the history before you cut-paste it. The Dominator (talk) 01:04, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Sure, but why don't you just subsequently add every paragraph rather than overwriting anything? The Dominator (talk) 01:06, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
