[edit] Example needs work
I'm interested in, but not familiar with, this subject. The example is muddled and confusing and does not make it clear what a superpattern is—it would be great if someone could improve it. —Doug Bell talk 05:16, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- I have attempted to clarify the example. I don't actually know much about superpatterns, but the example was reasonably clear to me, except the language was muddy, so I tried to clear it up. Hope it helps. Yishan 23:33, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Changed the way the example was explained. Hopefully, a lot easier to understand now! (Albert Antony 14:15, 17 July 2007 (UTC))
Who came up with super-patterns? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.212.175.149 (talk) 21:57, August 25, 2007 (UTC)
- Here is a rather thick paper I found on the subject. Since I'm noob I won't throw it onto the main page, but here is the link. http://www.combinatorics.org/Volume_9/PDF/v9i2r20.pdf It seems that in the study of combinatorics the term pattern has a special meaning, of which super-patterns are a subtopic, but currently I don't think Wikipedia has an article relating to this topic in the combinatorial sense.
