[edit] Remade?
Why exactly was this article changed so much? I thought it was fine the way it was, and much more descriptive (specifically referring to Super-Soldier's origin). Unless someone has a reason that it needed to be changed, I think it should be put back the way it was. Meweight 13:24, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fact and fiction
This article's presentation of the character's fictional publication history is horrible. It cannot be presented as fact, as it is now. Instead, it should describe first that the "meta-fiction" of a fictional publication history was established, what book depicts this publication history and how it depicts it. One can't at all infer from the article how a real-life reader "learns" this backstory, and because of the confusion I can't even tell what real books this character was featured in apart from Super-Soldier #1. The article also completely fails to describe how this parallels to the almagamated characters (i.e., that the fictional JLA #4 is derived from the real-life Avengers #4). Yes it's mostly chuff - will take a stab at it over the weekend when I have more time. --Charlesknight 22:32, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
- I tried my hand at weeding out the fiction and adding some sources. Let me know what you think.Konczewski (talk) 18:11, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Naming Convention
Shouldn't the entry really be called "Super-Soldier (Amalgam Comics)"? Roygbiv666 02:20, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

- Actually, it should be called "List of Amalgam Comics characters". --Chris Griswold 04:51, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Supersoldier.jpg
Image:Supersoldier.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
