Supreme People's Procuratorate

Supreme People's Procuratorate (simplified Chinese: 最高人民检察院; pinyin: Zuìgāo Rénmín Jiǎnchá Yuàn) is the highest agency at the national level responsible for prosecution in the People's Republic of China. Hong Kong and Macau, as special administrative regions, have their own separate judicial systems, based on common law traditions and Portuguese legal traditions respectively, and are out of the jurisdiction of the SPP.
The current Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate is Cao Jianming, and the Chief Grand Procuratorate is Han Zhubin (韩杼滨).
