Supporters Direct

Supporters Direct is a British government initiative, funded by public money, with offices in London and Glasgow, aiming to help people "who wish to play a responsible part in the life of the football club they support". They offer support, advice and information to groups of football supporters.

Supporters Direct encourages the formation of Supporters' trusts as a means of giving supporters both a degree of ownership of and democratic representation within the clubs they support.

Supporters Direct also sponsor The Supporters Direct Cup which is an annual pre-season trophy competed for by supporter-owned clubs.
