  • Consumers Food & Drug Southern Missouri. Stores Went defunct in the late 90s. Last store was in Joplin, Missouri, became Allen's Discount Foods in 2000 and finally went bankrupt in 2001 and closed the fall of that year.

  • Farm Fresh Supermarket - chain of 18 supermarkets located throughout Maryland; sold in 1995 by Jack Millman of Pikesville, MD
  • Farmer Jack Chain of 66 supermarkets that were based in southeastern Michigan and owned by parent company,Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company. Closed and sold off to several buyers including Kroger in July 2007
  • Food-A-Rama - started from a corner grocery store in downtown Baltimore City growing into a 48-store supermarket chain in Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, and Delaware. Was sold in 1985 to Super Rite foods of Harrisburg, PA [2]
  • Food Fair closed in the 1990s; Pantry Pride was part of Food Fair
  • Furr's Grocery - operated in the SouthWest, was related to Furr's Cafeteria
