Super Technologies, Inc. is a commercial voice over IP (VoIP) network and SIP company that provides telephone service via a broadband or dialup connection, enhanced call forwarding wholesale via DIDX, also known as DIDXchange, and via Virtual Phone Line, retail.
Super Technologies, Inc. is known as the company specializing in DID (direct inward dialing) services. Its DIDX or also known as DIDXchange began with a wholesale voice industry membership of 10 in August 2005 and 4000 as of December 2006, making it the largest in the world of its type. DIDX is an example of a Wholesale DID Exchange.
Members of DIDX complete one interop and then, have an interconnect with the complete DIDXchange for buying and selling DID (phone numbers) in bulk. The DID (phone numbers) are passed from termination to origination with SIP or IAX2 using Asterisk. DIDX is an open source solution.
Consumer members of Virtual Phone Line and wholesale members of DIDX have individual client side portals where they can do some or any of the following: buy DID, request DID, sell DID, view CDR, view billing, add funds, add talk time and communicate with the care team of either service.
Virtual Phone Lines can ring to GoogleTalk, MSN Messenger, FreeWorldDialup, Gizmo Project, cell phones, landline phones, any SIP address and other voice products. DIDX members have bought DID phone numbers that are local to UK, France, Turkey, Romania, Lithuania, Spain, South Africa, Denmark, Switzerland, Nigeria, UAE, Iran, Mexico, USA, Canada, Chile, Honduras, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Korea and over 50 other countries. DIDX members typically resell the DID to their market niche.
Examples of market niches for direct inward dialing services are specific country expatriates, entities involved in arranged marriages, military with family back home; NGO's, non-profits, and cooperatives; and virtual offices.
Super Technologies, Inc. headquarters is physically located in Pensacola, Florida, in what used to be The Towne House, a historical hotel. The company has added offices in United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, China, and United Kingdom.
[edit] DIDXchange
DIDXchange is also known as DIDX. Wholesale voice members complete a six step interop resulting in an instant interconnect with 4000 other wholesale voice members to buy and sell DID (phone numbers). Any of the 4000 top tier wholesale VoIP DIDX members may search according to its requirement of number of channels, calling use granted, flat rate and number of included minutes, codecs supported, and vendor rating. Vendor rating is scaled 1 to 10 with 10 as the highest. Vendor rating is determined by length of membership, quantity of its DID for sale on DIDX, references, DUNS report, financials and other criteria. Voice industry members in October 2006 are from over seventy-five nations providing millions of DID.
The concept of DIDXchange was nominated for the 2005 and 2006 PASHA Best Communication Product award. It was nominated for the Asia Pacific ICT Best Communication Product award in 2006, TMC's Internet Telephony Product of Excellence 2006, and the World Communication Changemaker Award in 2006. It is named 2007 Inc.com 5000 application partner.
