Super Science Stories was a pulp science fiction magazine that was initially printed by Popular Publications between March 1940 and May 1943. A total of 16 issues were published, all under the editorial control of science-fiction author Frederik Pohl at the age of 21.[1] Three of the 1941 issues appeared under the name Super Science Novels. In January, 1949 the magazine was briefly revived for 15 more issues, ceasing publication in August, 1951.
Some of the stories from Isacc Asimov's I, Robot first appeared in the issues of Super Science Stories. Authors Ray Bradbury (Pendulum) and Robert A. Heinlein (Let There Be Light as Lyle Monroe) also appeared in this magazine.
