Super Producer is a term used to describe a music producer that is highly acclaimed. They sometimes overshadow the artist with their music.
A small list of hip hop super producers would be Dr. Dre, Darkchild, DJ Premier, Timbaland, Three 6 Mafia, Kanye West, Pete Rock, and The Neptunes.
