Super Class ferry

The Super Class ferries were built by Washington State Ferries in 1967 to supplement the Evergreen State Class ferry. Each ferry can carry 160 cars and 2500 passengers.

Ferries in this class include:

• Elwha
• Hyak
• Kaleetan
• Yakima

The Kaleetan is working with the Hyak on the Bremerton run. The Elwha and Yakima are in the San Juans.
