[edit] Notes

  • Along with Starrcade, Bash at the Beach, The Great American Bash and Halloween Havoc, SuperBrawl was booked to be one of WCW's flagship pay-per-views.
  • SuperBrawl III and SuperBrawl VI are the only two SuperBrawls in which the final match wasn't a WCW World Heavyweight Championship title match.
  • Sting holds the record for most appearances at SuperBrawl with 8 SuperBrawls.
  • A match was scheduled between Larry Zbyszko and Louie Spicolli for SuperBrawl VIII; however, the event was predated by Spicolli's death on February 15, 1998.
  • SuperBrawl VI was also the last match of Brian Pillman in WCW because in an "I Respect You" Strap Match against Kevin Sullivan, he said "I respect you, bookerman!" to break kayfabe and then left the ring. The results of that incident, Pillman left WCW.
  • James Brown made a surprise appearance at Superbrawl 2000, performing with Ernest Miller.
  • The 1994 and 2001 editions of the event, while broadcast on pay-per-view, were never released on home video.
  • World Wrestling Entertainment have owned the rights to Superbrawl since they purchased WCW in 2001, however to date, they have not yet produced their own version of the event.
