The super-prefectures of Greece are a second-degree organization of local self-government and an administrative division between the peripheries and the prefectures. They are headed by an elected super-prefect, whose role is largely ceremonial, since most of the prefectural duties are exerted by the prefects coming under the super-prefect.
List of the Greek super-prefectures:
- Athens-Piraeus super-prefecture (Athens Prefecture, Piraeus Prefecture)
- Drama-Kavala-Xanthi super-prefecture (Drama Prefecture, Kavala Prefecture, Xanthi Prefecture)
- Rhodope-Evros super-perfecture (Rhodope Prefecture, Evros Prefecture)
