Supabarn is a supermarket chain based in Canberra with shops across the Australian Capital Territory (Canberra) and New South Wales in Australia. After opening in the Canberra Centre in 1991 as Supabarn Emporium, the chain has been renamed Supabarn Supermarkets (2004) and the original store relocated to a new extension of the Canberra Centre (2006). [1] In 2007, Supabarn was recognized for making over $1,000,000 in donations to their local community. [2]
According to Supabarn's website, new stores are planned for the Sydney suburbs of San Souci and Sutherland.
