[edit] Expansion

This article needs expansion so that it asserts the notability of its subject. Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools for some ideas about what makes a good school article. Usually elementary and middle schools are not notable enough to have an article on Wikipedia, but perhaps this school is unique on a national scale? Here is one user's criteria for evaluating high school articles, which can also be used for ideas. Please note that this user, and many others, feel that elementary or middle schools do not "belong in Wikipedia unless they are truly, genuinely, notable on a level of national importance". So I'm giving anyone interested in this article a chance to expand it, otherwise I may at some point nominate it for deletion. Katr67 15:18, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

I believe that Sunnyside is notable due to its unique environmental curriculum. I wouldn't say I know enough, or have the time/inclination, to research the specifics, but I hope someone comes along and does so. -Pete 05:47, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
