Bold textSunila Abeysekera has a finger in a lot of pies and has not proved a thing yet. She is one of those professional Non Governmental Organisation people who flits from one subject to another to earn a living from foriegn donors. I have confronted her on her achievements more than once and I find her misleading and evasive as are her co- professional NGO, Dr. Jehan Perera (Peace maker who left colombo once ), Dr. Paikiyasothy Saravanamuttu and Sunanda Deshapriya. Someone shoudl ask them about what they have done to settle the Yukthiya journalists' lockout without payments!!! It is time someone denounced these frauds. Sunila was supposed to be in charge of a programme to see that young Sri lankan children were not allowed to work but attending school until they are sixteen. I wonder what became of that project. Has she tried convincing her friends in the LTTE that child soldiers are not cannon fodder? I doubt that she did because now she is spending her time lobbying with Saravanamuttu for the LTTE in Geneva. They were also involved in the Movement for Monitoring Election Violence and another NGO for Policy Alternatives. None of these people are otherwise employed so they must use the donations for the expensive life styles in the most expensive nightclubs of Colombo! Peter Casie Chetty Journalist.
