Sunshine Radio 855 is a local radio station, based in Ludlow, Shropshire. The station serves South Shropshire, North Herefordshire, North Worcestershire and the England/Wales Borders.

The station broadcasts on 855 AM in Shropshire (with a sister service on 954 AM in Herefordshire & 1530 AM in Worcestershire) and plays music from the 60s to the present day, along with features, local news, sport, weather, travel information and more.

After a very successful spell on air as a pirate radio station in the 1980s, the station went on air officially in October 1992. Before being owned by Laser Broadcasting, Sunshine Radio 855 was operated by Murfin Media Ltd. Sunshine 855 is now known as simply Sunshine Radio, more recently forming part of a family of stations broadcasting under the same name with FM services in Hereford and Monmouth in addition to the two additional AM services mentioned above.

Steve Marshall (ex Voice of Peace), Austin Powell (now MD at Radio Maldwyn), Paul Ellery (Now Wyvern FM Drive) and Trevor Thomas were amongst the first DJs on the station, the first Managing Director was Graham Symonds.
Former presenter Jason King is now a well known name on Virgin Radio as part of the double act JK and Joel.
Other Presenters present and past include John Hyde, Adie James, Stuart Hickman, Nick Jones (former Radio Maldwyn presenter), John Taylor (now at Aston FM), James Hazell (now at BBC Radio Suffolk), Tim Cooper (now at Sunshine Hereford), Neil James (sadly now deceased), Simon Doe (now at Radio Maldwyn), Matt Healey (now at Sunshine Hereford), Nigel Morris (now at pulse), Gary Watkins, Ryan Kennedy, Steve Edge (former Radio Maldwyn and Radio Ceredigion presenter).
