Sunset Fjord

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sunset Fjord (54°3′S, 37°27′W) is a bay 1 mile (1.6 km) wide in the southwest corner of the Bay of Isles, South Georgia. Charted in 1912-13 by Robert Cushman Murphy, American naturalist aboard the brig Daisy, and so named by him because from his anchorage in the Bay of Isles the sun appeared to set directly behind this feature.
