The station broadcasts 24 hours a day on 103.2 FM and on DAB to Bradford, Huddersfield and Keighley. A feed is also available world wide via the stations website.

Sunrisee works closely with local charities and voluntary groups and provides regular whats on information. The station also has regular news bulletins through the day and has "News in-focus" at 5pm, a 15 minute in-depth report[1]. The music policy consists of "Bollywood", "Lollywood", "Bhangra", "Asian Pop", "Qawalis" and "Ghazals".

The station was launched in December 1989 and was the first Asian radio station on FM in the UK.
Sunrise Radio was named "Ethnic Media of the Year" in both 2001, 2002 and was awardeed title "Media of the Year" in 2004 [2].
