Sunnyslope is a census-designated place (CDP) in Chelan County, Washington, United States. It is part of the Wenatchee, Washington Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 2,521 at the 2000 census.

Based on per capita income, one of the more reliable measures of affluence, Sunnyslope ranks 53rd of 522 areas in the state of Washington to be ranked. It is also the highest rank achieved in Chelan County.

Sunnyslope is located at 47°28′26″N, 120°20′28″W (47.473801, -120.341228)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 10.1 square miles (26.1 km²), of which, 9.6 square miles (24.9 km²) of it is land and 0.4 square miles (1.1 km²) of it (4.37%) is water.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 2,521 people, 915 households, and 756 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 262.1 people per square mile (101.2/km²). There were 952 housing units at an average density of 99.0/sq mi (38.2/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 92.19% White, 0.16% African American, 0.44% Native American, 1.31% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, 3.41% from other races, and 2.38% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.62% of the population.

There were 915 households out of which 37.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 74.5% were married couples living together, 5.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.3% were non-families. 13.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.76 and the average family size was 3.02.

In the CDP the population was spread out with 27.4% under the age of 18, 4.6% from 18 to 24, 24.0% from 25 to 44, 29.6% from 45 to 64, and 14.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 99.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.8 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $68,224, and the median income for a family was $71,447. Males had a median income of $55,156 versus $36,250 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $28,024. About 3.9% of families and 5.5% of the population were below the poverty line, including 7.8% of those under age 18 and 6.1% of those age 65 or over.
