Sunny Jain is a New York City based Indo jazz drummer and composer. He received his Bachelor of Music in 1998 from the Steinhardt School at New York University. In 2002 the U.S. United States Department of State and The Kennedy Center declared him a "jazz ambassador", leading him to travelling to Africa to present concerts and workshops. He has performed with notable artists such as Norah Jones and Kenny Barron.[1] His "Sunny Jain collective" was independently produced in 2002 and, after signing with ZoHo Music, was rereleased by the label as SUNNY JAIN COLLECTIVE - MANGO FESTIVAL.[2]
