Sunnhordland is a traditional district in the western part of Norway, consisting of the southern, coastal regions of the county Hordaland, from the mouth of the Hardangerfjord and outwards to the Atlantic Ocean. It includes the municipalities Sveio, Etne, Stord, Bømlo, Fitjar, Kvinnherad and Tysnes, and by some also Austevoll.

The meaning of the name is 'the southern part of Hordaland'. (See also Nordhordland.)
