Sungai Pahang
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sungai Pahang is the longest river of Semenanjung, Malaysia. It branches off from Sungai Anak Jelai, where tributaries originate at the Titiwangsa range. It next flows down to form the Sungai Jelai River in the Lipis area, then hits the Jerantut area and joins Sungai Tembeling River, forming Sungai Pahang at Kuala Tembeling. At that location, it is called Ulu Sungai Pahang. Sungai Pahang continues down past the village of Pulau Tawar and on to the Temerloh and Maran regions, and finally empties into the sea in the Pekan region.
