The event is sponsored by the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson's Research and Wellness, and the Neuroscience Institute at University Hospital and The University of Cincinnati. It features a bicycling event through some of Southwest Ohio’s most beautiful countryside. Challenging river valleys and rolling family-friendly terrain invites hundreds of cyclists of all ages and abilities. Participants cycle the route of their choice, on Sunday morning, beginning and ending in Nisbet Park, Loveland, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. A festival atmosphere welcomes cyclists into Loveland for delicious food and an awards ceremony. Teams and individuals help raise funds and awareness to help in the fight against Parkinson’s. In 2007, Sunflower Revolution activities will help fund services, support and advocacy for people with Parkinson’s through the Davis Phinney Foundation. The weekend of activities begins with a Gala, on Friday evening, to support the critical research of The Neuroscience Institute, to find the cause, cure and improved treatments for the disease.
